It's in the Central Business District (CBD), which is essentially across the street from the freewheeling French Quarter. Many corporations, foreign consulates and the city’s convention center are located here, as is the Superdome. The hotel was really nice, super close to Bourbon street but not too loud. Hotel is not too big which is what we preferred. If we'd ever come back to New orleans I would stay in this place again and would not search for any other and I rarely say this. The staff were great at the hotel, very accommodating and helpful. The location is a couple of block from the French Quarter, which would be most tourists reason to visit. But the CBD and some street car lines are close by. The bar in the reception area was fabulous with some knowledge staff. There are several places to brunch within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.
